The museum was opened in March 2000 in the old workshop which size is 3,000 square meters, one of the oldest and fascinating buildings of the industrial structure in Pontedera. The company settled its production since the early twenties of the '900.
Born to preserve and enhance the heritage of one of the oldest Italian enterprises, the Museum aim is to reconstruct the history of Piaggio and of its territory through a long section of Italian history, made by economic changes, of tradition and of industrial development, through the show of its most famous and representative products and thanks to the wide documentation stored in the historic Archive.
